Because If It's Not Love Then It's the Bomb That Will Bring Us Together [18 Nov 2007|04:23pm] on a walk this morning i saw a wedding procession on the front lawn of a home in my neighbourhood. i dont know about getting married smack in the middle of the suburbs, (i dont even know about getting married at all) but theres something really nice and low key about it all. congratulations and good luck mystery newlyweds! lately i've made some really good decisions:  making art, making sure i keep some really important people in my life around and saving money when i got home last night i opened up the vine charcoal i bought a very long time ago that intimidated me. i ended up sketching various animals and i think its becoming my favourite medium- exciting! hopefully ill be confident enough to show it off some day. as well as the skirt and dress i made recently. sophie always wore the handbags i made despite the shoddy quality which is why she is amazing, but also why im afraid of giving anything i make away. ilu sophie 3 |oh sail me

[19 Jun 2005|01:12pm] [ mood | complacent ] i thought this would be easier than it is. 1. my favorite book is the little prince 2. my favorite author is albert camus 3. i live for those i care about which is only a handful of people and dogs 4. i'm obsessed with the desert and the sea (thanks camus) 5. i am forever commemorated as a daisy on my sister's quarter sleeve. 6. there is a website about "bauders" 7. i wont walk near a group of young boys- teenagers are fine but not 7 year olds. they are relentlessly honest 8. i have ocd 9. i'm worried about boring everyone 10. i used to really love seals. i even adopted one when i was little. i doubt it's still alive 11. i think im about to be voted "most likely to hug a tree" for grad. im keeping my name when i get married [25 Mar 2005|03:33pm] saturday: Inside Deep Throat sunday: church in westport, brunch at the cove with grandma i cant wait for inside deep throat! i have such high expectations for this movie, because i really liked party monster though i have no idea how accurate that portrayal was. anyway, all i want to do forever is live in overalls and paint and read and make things and live somewhere warm. 7 |oh sail me
